Christine McJunkin joined Highland Commercial Mortgage in 2017 as the Controller and Vice President of Finance. She supports the leadership team and loan servicing department with revenue analysis, accounting procedures, reconciliations, tax research, regulatory reports, data integrity and business office management. She brings over 20 years of experience in accounting to HCM. In addition to her finance role, Christine directs the organization’s human resource function.
Prior to joining Highland, Christine worked as a consultant in different capacities including controller, financial analyst, operations management and accounting software. She has successfully managed engagements in the healthcare, finance and construction industries.
Christine graduated Cum Laude from Birmingham-Southern College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the Alabama Society of CPAs. Christine also serves in a number of community and professional development organizations.
In her spare time, Christine enjoys volunteering for local community organizations and charities. Christine and her husband, Brad, stay busy with their four children ranging in ages from 9-19 years old.
